To my knowledge, the liquor wholesaler down in Clifton Park sells a cask strength version of Maker's, although it's not labeled as Private Select.
As for describing the 46, to me, it has kind of a vanilla and oak smell, a Creme Brulee taste on the tongue, and a mild burn on the finish. Speaking of Creme Brulee, was it you or Tazzerbobo that had it at The Desmond? |

Hi Mick. I don't think getting in touch with the prime minister would do much. Our liquor is controlled provincially by a Liquour Control Board. BUT there is hope. Our newly elected Premier of Ontario (could be another Trump) is considering selling this off to the private sector. If/when that happens, I suspect it won't take long to get all the best stuff on their shelves.
