Tuesday Feature race PARX race 6 9.0 Turf

Travel day as we head back to San Diego for Del Mar tomorrow

The feature race today will be from Parx
Race 8 is a nice looking race but with the scratch of the 2 becomes just a 6 horse field,

I decided to go with race 6. It's a full field. No scratches (yet)
It is a CL25000 claimer for non-winner of 3 race lifetime
Most of these have 2 wins but there are a couple with only 1 win!
9.0 on the Parx turf course Post time is around 3:10 east

Good Skill

My look

Race 6

Step 1. Top 5 Top line 1
10, 8, 2, 6, 11
Step 2. Running styles
E= 9, 4
EP= 1, 2
P= 10, 6, 12, 3, 5
S= 8, 11, 7
Contenders and Pacelines notes
Looking just at the top 3 TPR the 10 and 8 and 2 I see in this race, It looks like for a good effort the horses will need to run about 177-180 TPR.

Horse 1, Machu EP Line 1 shows a great LPR but it looks like a trouble early trip. so the EPR is weak
A 167 TPR is a low score, This horse started out very well as a maiden on the Parx turf so this is an issue,
This is one of the horses with only 1 win so It is skipping a condition

Horse 2 Sweet Soul. EP Line 1 is a plus paceline. It's the first race after a 510-day layoff, This is a 5-year-old so I would not worry about a bounce except line 1 was a hard battle. Extended dual. Will it improve or decline or stay the same? I will rate using line 1 but line 2 is probably what it can do if it can improve second off the layoff that number is a 177.6.

Horse 3 Rock Solid P Line 2 This one runs plus races, his TPRs are a little low but He presses and has solid LPRS Line 2 will only earn a 170 TPR. This one shows his best efforts at Tampa

Horse 4. Buzz with Alex Line 1 Pace only This one only shows 1 turf race and the EPR and LPR are favorable for a turf horse but low numbers

Horse 5 Viva La Kid Presser line 1 Kind of the like horse 4 Not much turf success except It did place on the turf as a maiden at Delaware at 7.5 and those numbers look low

Horse 6. Salt Mine Line 1 P This one comes back off a 72-day layoff Solid win at the N2-L level
Very capable to hit a 178-180 TPR with solid LPRS.

Horse 7 Winters Gift Line 2, Sus. Real good race against state bred at Pen at this level.
Line 1 is a dud. Line 2 looks like a peak effort Today faces tougher

Horse 8 On The Wall S. Just won it maiden. It rates well on both line 1 and 2 although line 1 looks overly adjusted because of the 7.5 distance. That said line 2 is the race I will rate
Skips a condition and faces winners for the first time today

Horse 9 Southern Union E Line 5 Ships in from New York so It will probably not go off at 12/1.
If it can race like it did in line 5 (101days ago ) it tops the list. Line 1 is a (+) against much better
Only 2 for 26 life record and no turf wins.

Horse 10 Appa P Solid Plus race line 1 ships from LRL Pim and GP Comes off a 37 day layoff
and training at Mth First time running at Parx

Horse 11 Crown They Good Sus Line 1 moves up a notch after 2 losses since a 616-day layoff
33 days no workouts The last layoff return race (40) days earned a plus race but low numbers

Horse 12 Secret Secret P No turf lines Lprs look low for turf success

Contender 6 2 3 10 9

Let's see what the odds say

Good skill

R6 is a pretty tough race. As of now my contenders are 10-2-6-3-5. In R8 I have 5-4-6-3. Will be back later with plays for each race.

I didn't have much time to spend on this but enough to know its a wide open race. Not a race to put a good size bet on. I'll go 11-4-9 and play the two highest odds of them and hope. Any low paying horse isn't worth the risk in this one. Every horse has some knock. I don't have the time to evaluate soundness which is probably a key here.

I was going to put $1 on each, that's how much I like this one but the minimum is a $2 bet.

Sly

Well Now Hello indeed

Looking back, Doc did say that in absence of turf lines, Sometimes off tracks are indicative of turf success, If line 5 was used The 12 is right there
Hello,

Hey Mitch, I still say the 12 came out and hindered your 11

Thanks to everybody, That was exciting anyway, maybe the pick 3 will be a All
for race 6
