Trades

No idea if this is allowed but I am wondering if someone would be able to trade for something from me for a book (if anyone has it) called “A-Z Angles” by Noel Michaels. Thanks everyone if someboen can do this before the Oaklawn meet!

I don't have a copy and frankly, I'm not familiar with it. That's rather odd because I have an extensive library of horseracing titles. If I did have a copy, we would work something out.

As far as your initial comment, I can't think of any problem with "trading" books. I know books are copyrighted material but used book dealers sell old books all the time and to the best of my knowledge, they don't pay royalties to the copyright holders. (As a published author myself, I've never received such a royalty check. Darn it! )

I would suggest that you try paceadvantage.com. It's a much larger site and they have a lively exchange in old software, books and other materials.

Caveat - past performance data files are a different matter. Equibase (like Coca Cola) is zealous about protecting its copyrighted material. I'm adding this because if I don't, Ted will. (Hi, Ted.)

You can get a lot of good, free information on angles at the site listed below.

I have never read this book but from over 60 years of experience and judging from the title, I would recommend that you should pass on it.
There is no such thing as a "Professional" Horseplayer. Possibly 2% of the betting public will win.
I applaud your enthusiasm but I would not
recommend or encourage a young person such as yourself to pursue a career betting the ponies. I apologize for bursting your bubble.
Horse Racing is nothing more then a recreation or pastime. Actually, It is a dying pastime.
Concentrate on a meaningful occupation or stay or go back to school.

Your exactly right about trying to win but the joy the young buck is trying to do is open up new ears
