Gambling vs 'Capping
Worth a read:
http://pullthepocket.blogspot.com/20....html?spref=tw For those unfamiliar, Alan Dinkinson (Dink) is a pro bettor in Las Vegas, and was profiled in Beth Raymer's book "Lay the Favorite". The section on using the tote to start your handicapping is quite important: Bill Benter, in particular, found his regression models for beating horse racing took a dramatic improvement when he adjusted his odds line by incorporating an EQUAL input of the tote odds. Bottom line, if you are not using the tote, you are betting at a significant disadvantage. Richard |

slowly
Hello Richard
Thanks for the link. I am slowly becoming much more aware of this aspect of my game. I slowly am realizing that I have the winner a very high percentage of the time in my final contenders, which is great , now since I'm more aware of the tote tools in RDSS I feel more confident in my betting structures. |
