Synthesis and DosBox

Hello,

I recently installed DosBox on my Windows 7 Home Premium computer in order to run Synthesis. I can open Synthesis using DosBox and find my downloaded racecards, but when I open a particular card, there are no races listed, just the headings. Can I be missing a file needed for Synthesis to run?

Hi.
The only way I could get Synthesis to work on my computer with windows 7 was to first install windows Pro, then install Windows Virtual machine and
run The Windows XP mode

I could not get either Val 4 or Sythesis to work in Dos box
Installing windows virtual machine lets these program run without dosbox

DosBox

Thanks for your reply. I was able to get to the screen you posted. Then I selected the race card. It opened but I wasn't able to view the race lines. Is that the same error you were getting?

Thanks.

yes

yes Fran

that seems to be the problem when working with Dos Box
It can't find the /trkmast file so the cards don't show up
