greatest game ever played
ESPN did a great job of putting together footage of the game and colorizing. It brought back fond memories for me of watching the master of the 2 minute drill Johnny U in action with Raymond Berry.

Hi Jeff
I always wondered why the Colts didn't go for the field goal I see the footage all the time and winning touchdown was a very short run , The very first game I ever saw was the Colts Jets superbowl Bill |

Bill,Two thoughts on that
1)The owner of the Colts was a huge bettor and they needed the TD to cover the spread 2)Steve Myra was a below average FG kicker |

In regards to point #1 I have heard that his betting also played into the Jets win in superbowl 3 Something about win the game but don't cover But the NFL looked down on the AFL and the Jets won |

Bill,I just remembered you were not even born yet when that game was played, makes me feel old.
I always wondered if Johnny U had started that Jets-Colts game would the outcome have been different. |
