Ted Craven - my practice selections

I use Configuration Defaults, except I use DTV range of -15 ... +15. I used automatic Paceline Selection Strategy (PSS) #2 (Best of Last 3 Comparable Perceptor). No changes to lines selected. I eliminated non-win contenders as shown.

My practice bet is $50 WP #6

Good luck to all in this new Contest!

My $50 WP on #6 has paid $560.
My bankroll is $2000 - $100 + $560 = $2460.
My Hit Rate = 1.0 so my Score Total so far is still $2460.

Just to say - this kind of reporting is not required after each day, and the Contest Manager will be doing the Official tally for the Contest.

However, for those who may be watching and learning from this process, it seems it would be helpful to know - as a complete cycle - the analysis of the race, and the outcome. For example, I found myself dying to know how Barb's practice race at Parx worked out, so looked it up.

Just acknowledging the partial unreality of a Contest setting where, in this case at Assiniboia Downs, the $50 extra bet in the Win and Place pools would have lowered the actual mutuels at least a little bit as the pools were rather small.

In this particular race, I did not actually place a wager - I went to bed ...

In this example, the race does not count because it went of at 4:41 pm (according to the Result Chart) and my post was time stamped 4:42 pm. My post would have to be stamped at least 1 full minute before Post Time, or 4:40 pm.

I waited too long. (I lost it too ...): the Result 5-8-9

My BL screen, FWIW ...

I discounted the #5 for Win due to its low SR on its recent route. Its recent sprint lines were no better. But its Odds and confirming Tote Xray meant it should at least have been in the exacta.

I should not have used line 3 for #6 294 days ago. Its last line would have more fairly rated it down the list, and anyway its 196 day Layoff (despite great works) makes it a low probability to Win first asking, especially when there were so many other horses who have run within 4-6 weeks.

Saved by distraction...

Here you go Jon: http://paceandcap.com/forums/showthread.php?p=80028

Peruse the May 2012 posts.

You need a BRISnet Supertote account (free), then you need to login to it once per day from within RDSS to get RDSS to connect to the tote stream (read the instructions in the popup window when you click the RDSS Desktop Supertote button).

Then, odds, WPS pool info and the mysterious 'Tote Xray' appear on all Analysis screens and the Tote screen for each race.

cheers,

Ted
