Post Missing information

Oaklawn Park (OP) Race 8 on 4/15/2021. The last line on the #1 Gato Guapo is missing information. The other entries in the same race do not show the same issue:

I checked the chart for that race and the
1/2 mile time was unavailable.

Guess the timer didn't function right at that pole.

Ah, I should've checked that first. Thank you!

what I can't explain is why there's no ASR

and the numbers don't calculate/show up
in the PMTR/TPR tab.

I checked this out in the RDSS source code. Typically, when there are incomplete call times, or beaten length values, or races outside of 4f - 12f distance, RDSS skips over computing velocities and also final time ratings (Adjusted Speed Rating ASR and True Speed TS)

Apparently several years ago I made a change to permit showing at least the ASR and TS when final time info was available, but for some reason (lost in time) it was never implemented - as shown in the missing ASR in this race!

I reinstated that previous code change today but need to test it further before including it in an update.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

Ted

Thank you, Ted! I found another one. Looks like this horse has had the luck of back-to-back races that were unable to be timed at Gulfstream. I don't think there is much you can do for this one, but worth a look:

Not just final time Conley but also a SR for those two races. How they compare to the other contenders I have no idea. Most horses can be gotten with more that one line to get into the top 3.
