It is under consideration, especially for those dlivery like yourself and Darryl and Tim that have been around a long time.

I do have a question though. In the case above there was only one turf sprint to choose from and there were multiple horses from that race. Line choice pretty obvious. There were other horses with good works and follow up responses that validated the works. this one had great works all along and was the best of my contenders.

BUT, when you see a horse like this and the paceline looks dull or perhaps has an excuse within it, how far back do you look? I have seen horses with good works, but many races back where they improved in the next race after that good work. then they had a few not so good runs, then the really good workout. Do the line choices open up in such cases?

Hi Bill. That turf sprint is at 5f more then 1 fur difference from todays' races. I would have used l4 for my line.

Very nice Bill, that's what I'm talking about. I don't worry about line choice so much with these type horses. I don't know where this horse stood with the others as far as CR or CSR.

This horse has great upside, exam its PP. Only 1 sprint and ran as good as in all other Turf Routes. Look at its Tot. Energy and POR. 1 /10 is minor. Also, best Preceptor in last, how can one doubt this is a sprinter. Until a horse like this has 3 sprint races, we don't know how good it is. Horses like this will outrun their figures in both SR, Tot. Energy or TPR, sometimes by as much as 10 Lengths.

Great choice Bill, looking for corollaries and other vital information is key. Trainer through slow to determine best dis. found it in last. Better late than never. Even with these great choices we still can miss the EX or DD. We have to gather what we can.

Hi folks, back from my travels, enjoying some Canadian Thanksgiving turkey today!

I've got some feedback and corrections from Mitch on this, plus some other stuff before the next software testing round (couple of weeks?).

Besides normal documentation of changes to the RDSS Workout screen, I'll let Mitch take the lead on any education beyond this thread.

My software selected line 3 as the pace line. It was close between lines 1 and 3, but with line 3 being a narrow margin finish, it was the selection.

For the total of the primary factor rankings, I had Sigiloso second behind only Rip City.

With the excellent work only 6 days prior, he was a strong contender. As Scott said, hail the 5 furlong work.

" Monkey catches another."

" The Monkey has been laid up the last few weeks, like a lame horse. Felt up to just a few races today at Kee & GP. Had a horse at 25 or so to 1 in the 11 @ GP that finished Place, winner drifted over on it in deep stretch and bumped it, however they didn't allow the DQ. Seeing his banana's going down he wasn't a happy camper.

He's been trained to get over adversity quickly and move on to the next race, the 10th at Kee. In that I had the @ 2 & # 9. #2 won and paid $54.26. I missed the EX but had the DD for $5, it paid $ 84.91 for $1.

Haven't been doing much playing lately, but today I looked at my workout angle and had a profitable day at OP.

I had 3 placed horses; 1st # 4 nosed at wire paid $12.80, 2nd # 3 paid $10.60 & 9th # 6 $ 7.00. Note: I don't play any horses to place however I will put them with my other top two on some normal Hcp. such as best two in RDSS.

Winners from workout, 5th # 2 $ 10.60, 8th # 7 $ 13.60. Also hit DD 8th & 9th and Ex in 9th, Ex 1st $46.20 for $1, Win bet $6 on # 7 in 8th, $5 win bet on #2 in 5th$ 10.60.

Overall, a winning day.
