You guys should have a conference call or something that I can still join in on the fun from up in Canada.

Sorry I cannot make it. Hoepfully next year I can make it to see all the nice people on this board.

We cant wait to see everyone, now Ill have to read the thread to see if we need to get tickets etc for the restaurant(?). we really didn't think we were goin this year but we HAVE to get up there

Richie, you were already on the list (http://paceandcap.com/forums/showpos...&postcount=110). Saturday, right? I'm sure we can squeeze Karen in there too.

Looking forward to seeing you guys again!

Ted

Hello Richie

I can't wait to see you guys again. I am still not sure which day I will be there for racing. My treatment appointment is not confirmed yet. Whatever happens, I will be able to join in on Saturday night.

Glad you and Karen are going to be able to come and join us Rich. It looks like this is going to be the best yet.

Simulcast at SAR

I plan to attend the races at SAR Wed Aug 14 through Sun Aug 18:

1: Does anyone (Charlie?) know if there is an area at the track similar to a Las Vegas racebook where they simulcast other tracks and one can plop down with a laptop and handicap? Or, barring that, the best place to hang and sit with a laptop, preferably indoors?

2. I will be joining the RDSS gang for the group meet Fri, Sat, and Sun

3. If anyone wants to meet up at the track Wed/Thurs, or meet up at the Desmond Tue/Wed nite please let me know.

Thanks.

Richard

Richard

I believe there is a place up on the top floor behind the top of the stretch area that is good for what you are looking for. Also the Fourstardave has tables of 2 , 4, or 6 but generally they show only Saratoga. You will have to use your laptop to watch your other tracks. I may go home for a few days and not sure yet if I will be here on the Wednesday before the group meet.

Richard you can find their simulcast schedule at NYRA.com Their schedule varies each day.

For the 3 days we're there 16th Fri.,17th Sat. & 18th Sun., GP, Mth & Lau are available. WO is also available but on Fri the 16th it doesn't start till 4:05. All tellers should be able to take the bet but as Charlie says you may have to watch it on your laptop.

THERE IS NO PARX SIMULCASTING THE THREE DAYS WE'RE THERE.

If you have an online wagering account such as with TwinSpires you can both bet and watch on your computer and avoid the lines and getting shutout.

Richard, i just checked it out. the simulcasting center is just behind the stretch at the top of the northern most escalator. there are 8 big screen hd tvs on a wall each with a different track. There are about 30 tables but they appear to fill up early, so you should get there early.
