Thinking Back

With racing scheduled to start this weekend here in Maryland at the Timonium State Fair it got me to start thinking back how much fun the races used to be.They used to have a 6 week meet and I used to clean up betting those CT horses who were used to the tight turns they have there. Now they only have racing for 10 days. Also used to look forward to the Atlantic City meet which was at night that would be filled with turf races.Oh well time marches on.

Glory days

Hi Jeff

I think most of us feel like we miss something from
our racing past,
I often wish things were the way they were about 10 years ago
When I could get out of work everyday at 2.00 and run down
to the Meadowlands to see and work races with Richie

I used to do so well at Golden Gate , Bay Meadows and Oak tree
Santa Anita
Every day every race was looked at
Today I can only do a few races a day during the week
