OTE Race at Tampa
Hi everyone-
Here's one at Tampa today that looks to me like an OTE. I'm projecting a pace of 22.1 45.3. Many of these seem to need the lead or be in 2nd position early to win. The horse that look to be further back positionally and run well are: #1 22.1 45.4 58.4 112.2 4-4 4-2.5 2-2 2-.75 #2 22.1 45.1 58.2 111.2 4-.75 2-hd 1-1 1-4.5 #4 22.3 45.4 112.1 118.4 7-9 7-11 5-2 1-1.75 #10 22.1 45.2 57.4 111.2 7-7 7-5 5-4 3-3 Of these contenders, I think #2 is the fastest. He's my top pick and I'll take #10 for 2nd. Any other takes on this race? |

On #10, my gut, instict, intuition, "Minds Eye" is telling me that 22.1 45.2 57.4 111.2 7-7 7-5 5-4 3-3 was maybe a result of a collapse in front. If similar happens here to E, P types here he could repeat the line above. #10 does look one to definitely include in Exacta's, Tri's here though. Good Skill

While this appears to set up nicely for the with all the speed in the race, I think the stands out here. Won't bet unless I get 3:1, however.

Thanks Charlie-
Your point brings up a common question for me. In a race like this, will the #2 get sucked along with the other earlies and not have enough left late, thus leaving the race to collapse for a horse like #10? Or, will the #2 just be able to sit a little more off the pace and be in front of #10 the whole way? |

#2's overall "picture" Peter says to me sits 3rd or 4th , so with that in mind i think he should be ok.
We'll find out soon anyway. Good Skill
