Stake Money (Prize Money) related Analysis
Hello,
I was interested to know people's thoughts on how to use data related to Stake Money earned by various runners in a race? Does a runner in a race that has earned a higher purse (in the current season or lifetime) have an advantage that could be used in some way to pick winners? Are there any older threads related to this topic that I can read up on? I have the following types of (Stake Money related) data for Hong Kong and was looking at analyzing this: 1) Season Stakes -- Total HKD won by a horse in the current season 2) Total Stakes -- Total HKD won by a horse since it has moved to HK. It could include stake money and additional bonuses (such as a High Achievement Bonus or HAB or an ISG Bonus). It could also include any stake money won by the horse in international races (these races would be run AFTER the horse has moved to Hong Kong) 3) Overseas Stakes -- This is the stake money won by the horse abroad before coming to Hong Kong. Total Stakes by Course and Distance-- The Total Stakes is available by Course (STTT, STAW, HVTT) and Distance (1000, 1200, 1400, 1600, 1650, 1800, 2000, 2200, 2400) --Sohil Patel |
