Ted's is correct
That is true Ted
The reason I used line 3 on Val4 is because In line 1 the horse was beaten by 9 which in Val 4 is a non usable line Bill |

PoR
Using the Fulcrum I choose the horse that fits the criteria. This then helps determine pace, or more correctly, which horse(s) will be able to compete against it.
How does one go about estimating PoR, for today's race, ending up with the numbers that are shown in the PoR TE ie. 170.1 / 168.1 etc.

You
If you can do that you already can predict the future
so why not just bet $$$$ on the winner There is no way to figure out how RDSS is going to adjust the results of a race before its run. You don't know what the DTV is or how they use the ITV The POR POH numbers you highlighted are adjusted to today track, surface, DTV and ITV by Trackmaster/RDSS once they know the results . You can always just use Val 4 DOS and or many of the earlier programs like PL4 and Synthesis or Valm and you will get a compounded rating of the POR/POH called LSP or you could find someplace a program of Doc's called Quad Rator which is based totally on the POR/POH calculations So if you want to hand enter your pace lines and work in Dos that is your solution Or you can stay with RDDS2 and use the tools you have |

horse
I can get a rough estimate of what some of the Parx distance races will rate on total energy based on raw par times but Its really a rough guess
to try to figure out the DTV and how its applied. Every time I think I have the DTV figured out There comes a day that makes no sense Bill |

On to the more serious side - I've been using PoH/PoR as another tool to see who can be a contender - can they match the PoR that other horses in the race have been able to do. I thought there might be a way to estimate pace of today's race, much like the Fulcrum method, via the PoH/PoR #s. Thanks again for the help Bill.
