Glad to see the board running a contest. This sounds like lots of fun, especially since most of us are using the ideas of the Sartin Methodology. I love contests, but 4 days over two weekends is too big of a commitment for me to make right now...

If in the future, if someone wants to run a one day contest, especially if the rules are simpler, like whoever makes the most money wins, I would definitely be interested.

Seriously appreciate you guys putting in the unpaid work to run something like this, I know it will eat up a ton of time. Good luck to all who will be competing.

Thanks Dan. Last year's winner - Ray K - made just a couple of Win bets per day, if I recall. Could be that simple, or one could make numerous more complex bets. According to availability and preference.

But, hope to see you another year or in another Contest!

Ted

Circumstances have changed and the date of the contest has been pushed back so the old Pook will be able to play. I still can’t commit to managing it though, so thanks to Bill Lyster and Ted.

I’m in. Looking forward to it. Makes three!

That graphic was designed by Pook for last year's inaugural Contest. Nice one indeed: the hat, the 4 horse ...

Count Me In

Hi All,

I have been using the RDSS software off and on for about 4 or 5 years now. I recently retired and have more time to work on my game (golf and racing). A joyful time of life indeed. I have spent significant time on the site but have never joined the conversation and it feels like now is a good time to do so. I appreciate all of the insight and perspective that so many of you have provided to date via the site.

I look forward to participating in the contest and I think that makes five of us.

Thanks again!

Hi Matt,

Welcome aboard!

One of the main things I like about the Sartin Methodology is that most of the people who have learned and are using it are pretty generous in sharing their knowledge. I hope you have a similar experience and I want to welcome you to to the board, everyone I have conversed with here has been fun and informative.

You are using the correct software, IMO, with RDSS. The Sartin Methodology has made more gamblers into winners than anything else other than maybe cheating.
