Nice
Okay so everything looks in order right?
This was a 10 horse field, I eliminated half the field already, just from my paceline/contender work I am left with five horses #2 # 3 #4 #9 #12 Easy I will just send the race to KGEN and run the race in thoromation |

Thoromation
So I bypass all the KGEN Screen and just go to thoromation,
The first screens I look at are the preplay stop action screens The one that comes up first in this race is the SP or OTE The opposite screen in this race would be the EXDC screen So it looks like a real toss up. Who do I take? Here is thoromation |

match
the best I can tell is thoromation and EXDC match
The top 2 finishers are the 2 and the 4 Guess what If I ran to the window and bet the 2 and 4 I would lose. Take a look at this race. If I just depended on the final thormation screen I would have lost, But with a little thought and from reading the Follow-ups The winner, although not clear cut from KGEN or Energy or thooromation or even Entropy will not come up top 2 but actually is gettable. |

Conditions
Now looking at the race in a more complete way,
The first step is to look at the conditions This is an optional Claimer for $16000 One of the conditions is horses who have never won 2 races |

Conditions
I strongly base my line selection based on the conditions of the race
I don't throw out many horses based on the conditions alone but I look for clues when picking my pacelines Here are all the horses again. Look at the class of the races from which I took my pacelines ' Two of the five horses # 3 and 4 come out of the same condition as today's race Two horses # 9 and 12 come out of a restricted claiming race for CL25, nonwinners of 3 life. The purse for horses 3 and 4 was $23000 The purse for the restricted claiming race was $17,000 The 2 horse won its MS $23000 and now face winners for the first time at this point, the 3 and 4 have a class advantage I also know that I have a few things to consider about the 2 horse and that it facing winners for the first time |

pre play again
Let's look at the pre plays again
The thing to always check when a maiden winner goes against winners for the first time is to check the TT or middle panel of its maiden win line compared to the horses who have won The #2 horse is very week on the turn This is a real neagtive |

readouts
I removed the MS winner # 2
Now I will check the line graphs Each of the 6 line graphs shows no horse with an advantage or disadvantage I will again run the race in thormoation The 9 and 12 win the 4 edges out the 3 Because of the #3 being the lone early, Along with the fact that none of the graphs show any advantage. The proper play should have been win bets on #9 and #12 and a 3 horse box of the two win horse and the lone counter energy #3 I was sloppy this time, But following the Sartin guidelines I will learn to be better Good Skill Here is the chart |

Thanks, Bill. From listening to some old Sartin tapes, several people mentioned they play the firs screen that comes up on Kgen/Thoromation.
