Richard, why did you suggest a win bet on the 1 and 8 versus the exacta bet on the 5

57: in an 8 horse field did not want to make 3 win bets (didn't think I would get at least 5-1 on each).

Going with 3-7-9-1 Best Early #3 and Best Late/Closer #7

#7 no longer an Uncoupled Entry with #6 scratch

Pletcher Uncoupled Entry #4 - longer priced compared to #8 could pick up 3rd or 4th

Will wait for current Odds to structure wagers, though something like Win 3-7, Exacta 3-7 / 3-7-9-1 seeking minimum even odds Exacta return.

Good luck to all!

RDSS has a screen with the 7 primary pace factors. I don't know which screen, as I use my own private software, not RDSS. I have a similar screen where I had the 9 as best in everything except hidden. What did RDSS have on that screen?

My lines:
1 4
2 1
3 1
4 2
5 4
6 scratch
7 3
8 2
9 1

Factor values and ranks are somewhat dependent on how/if you apply Daily and Inter-Track variant adjustments.

Nice 'capping!
