Exporting data

I've finally exported the current Gulfstream meet. I've found some variables that have helped me select not so obvious winners. I'd now like to do this for the other tracks currently running.

Is there a way to export multiple races or the entire card from a certain track at one time versus exporting each race one at a time?

Hi Drea - glad you're getting some useful info from your GP models! Exporting all races for a card (or from the MyRaces module) is not yet possible though it's a good idea.

The reasoning always was that the user could make some tweaks in each race, if not to pacelines automatically chosen then to Contender status (i.e. Primary, Secondary, Non-Contender) and thus would need to Export to Excel Modeling on a race by race basis. Still - being able to do the same thing on the Card Summary screen for all Assembled races (either Assembled automatically or subsequently tweaked race by race) makes sense.

The Modeling module is among the items I am reworking significantly for whenever a major update is ready (e.g. Q2 this year 2022). I've added that item to the feature list, thanks!

Continued good luck and skill!

Ted

Ted - thanks for the reply. That's exactly what I had in mind. I would chose all my lines for each horse, for every race. Then I would export afterwards.

That's my issue now. I've used RDSS for roughly 6-8 months now. I have all the data and files I need to build my models. I would need to go back thru every track/every race to export data.

It's not an issue moving forward. I export the races at the end of the day and it's easy to manage, but going backwards is tough.

Glad to hear it's an improvement you are looking into and can't wait to see what else you are working on!
