PoH/PoR

With regards to the attached picture: What is the significance of the PoH/PoR?

How does viewing this relate to today's race and how does it affect betting?

Which Line

Hi Terry

First thing I need to ask you is what line would you use for this horse?

when you make that decision I will be able to relate it to the answer of POR POH

Why

Thanks Terry

Just for my own interest ( others too? )
Since you chopped off the date and race #
what race is this ..

Now to your answer. Is line 1 a plus line ?
Is this representative of what you feel the horse will run in the race you are handicapping ?

As for as your POR /POH

Now look at the POH or PACE OF HORSE figures for this horse.
Since I don't know the distance of the race your showing its up to you to tell me.

In all its plus races which have been adjusted to this race distance
and equalized to a "Sartin Downs" racetrack, when it runs plus races
what is the POH total energy for those races ?

Next in those plus races what was the PACE OF THE RACE (POR) it ran
against.?

So now after you have all your contenders and representative pace lines
you can see if the expected pace of race total energy will be something this horse can run against ,
Now If you look at the total energy for all those contenders and you see
this horse has never been able to run against what you expect the POR
total energy to be then you have to decide if its final odds justify the risk
of a bet.

Bill

By setting a fulcrum and allowing the horse to be a contender through that process is what you talked about above not somewhat redundant?

GP race 6

Hi Terry

I figured out this is race 6 from GP on 3/13/14

Ted replaced the LSP readout from Validator with the POR POH total energy readouts

The LSP rated the pacelines the user picked to which horse rated best
in a formula that measured the difference in the POR and POH for the paceline
and then gave it a rating

Here is the GP Race in RDSS and in Dos Validator
I have highlighted the LSP readout

Yes Its basically the same thing. A horse runs as\s fast as it needs to,- to win
The whole question of the match up and horse racing is, how fast can the horse run if it has to run faster in today's race

Sorry about that Bill. Sometimes if the pic is too wide or long it exceeds the upload limit. That's why I clipped it.

It's today at GP. Opps - had the wrong race however I see you found it. The pick 6 carryover is 2.7 mill

For this type of race I really dig down into my pocket and splurge on the .20 cent pick 6 -

My Pick

Bill, can you add the 4 horse to Val please?

My screen shot - I'm choosing to go with the 4 - the trainer and jockey are pretty good.

As far as showing you Val 4,You will get the exact same readouts if you just switch your mode to Val 4. Then clear your cache for this race and reopen RDSS and select your line

Thanks
Bill
