Mornin Fellas,

On this last day of the contest I can't stick around for scratches or odds. Another tough race which I should pass. Might be a bomb in it like Mike says. But for the sake of just trying to notch up one more win I will figure it as best I can.

I see three E types, 5,6,7. Not sure whether this will run E or OTE so I'll go with the 5 to survive of the E's. And the 10 as the best of the OTE's.

5,10 Win

Best of luck to the rest of you fighting for 2nd and 3rd. I think Lost has the win sewn up but you never know with a bomb. I may not be able to figure results, standings, and prize allocations until this evening or maybe tomorrow but stay tuned.

#5 to WIN

As a "Match Up" rookie, I'm clueless on a projected pace. (I'm also clueless on Aqueduct's Inner Dirt, as I fly south in the winter with my play, like a handicapping snowbird.) I think the leader will run 12-second furlongs for awhile, then backup some, maybe 24/48/1:13. I think the leader will be #5 and with a little luck, he might hold on. Besides, I like his name.

pace: 24.1 - 48.5 - 113
OTE
Contenders: 3-4-6-10

Pace likely to be set by #7 closely follow by 10 and 6. 6 has won on fast and slow pace, 10 will likely be post time fav and odd will do nothing to make an impact on the current standing.

I am going big, so I might come out of this smelling like roses or Crap. The 3 fit the pace and will be behind the EP's. "FAST SPRINTERS BEAT SLOW ROUTERS" read that in the matchup manual, hence my bet go broke or go home.

Win/Place: 3-4

Lostandwon: great capping last week! I hope we get another crack at this Pook. Great tournament learn a lot and I am a better capper today.

Gents Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family. Hope the new year brings good Health and success to all......... HO HO HO......

48.2—112.0
Contenders: 2-4-5-6-7-10
My thought is the 4 go for the lead and set the pace, I was looking for a long short but everything for me leads back to the 10.
10 win and place

This will be an exercise in futility, but with nothing to lose, here goes:

Speed seems to be holding pretty good. #7 should have the lead at the second call and could go all the way. I am hoping the #3 can reverse the tandem and beat the #10 to the end.

Win #7
Win-Place #3

It has been fun although I kind of sucked this time around. Got my $50 worth of learning (losing) experience.

Merry Christmas to all!

Obviously, I'm looking for a price. As I analyze this race, I know the inner dirt favors speed. So, I'm looking for a horse near the lead. Here are the contenders.

#4: Has been on or near the lead in sprints. He can run from off the lead in sprints and has shown two efforts 9 and 10 back on the inner dirt where he showed sustained sprints. Contender
#5 Ran on or near the lead in 25 and 49. Not fast enough.
#6 Ran 23.4 and 49 early not on inner dirt. Contender.
#7 Ran 50.4 in inner dirt.

The 4 and 6 are my contenders in a race to be run early.

Contrary to my style, I'm going to play the 4 and 6 to win.
