Dont believe everything you see

I was listening to a Pizzolla seminar tape and he told a funny story
about when he was with Pirco.

A client had told Doc that he was losing and Doc told him to send
in his readouts with the results of the races. The client did so and
Doc and Jim showed him how they got the winners on top of the
readouts.

What they didnt know was that the client was a typesetter and he
rigged the results charts to have the dead last horses appear on top.

It just goes to show you dont believe everything you see unless of
course it is done before the race has been run.

on the other hand

I was invited by both Doc and Jim Bradshaw to come and work races with them in their homes and at the Pirco offices.
On both the visits 95 percent of the races I worked, with these men
they knew the results of the race. I went with Jim Bradshaw and worked a few races live but for the most part, the races were selected from a collection of DRFs with the results in Jims data base
With Doc We only did races that had all ready been run.

I am forever grateful to them both because they wanted to teach me how to win.
I did not need them to show me magic tricks. They invested their time
with me by showing me what works day in day out .

I welcome seeing how winners win I already am in awe of them

Thanks
Bill
