Hi Rich and Bill. I’ve been digesting the feedback from last weekend and will use that to match these races.
Earlies: 1- 22.2 46.2 last line, best position is 2nd 2- Close to fplr, but best race was line 5 against 22.3 46.2. Two wins were fighting in 2nd place at 1C. 4- Has won from 2nd and 3rd position. Line two was against a fast 22 45, last line faded against slower. 5- This looks like the fastest out of the gate. Has won from 1st and 2nd position. Last line set the pace against 21.4 44.3 and held second. Line 2 was a win against 22.2 45.3. That is my projected pace. 7- Has won from 1st and 2nd position. Best line was last race against 22.1 45.3 5 horses who like to be 1st through 3rd position and I don’t see one that stands out from the rest as a win candidate. OTE’s: With 5 earlies, I’m looking from a runner who does well from 6th position or thereabouts. 3- Has won from 4th and 6th position. Power line is line 1, moving 4-4-2-1 against a 22.2 6- No wins showing but best finishes were from 3rd or 4th position, closer than what I’m looking for. “Now count the # of early runners you see, NOW go back and find among your OTE runners the horse (s) that have won or ran very well from the next position out after you take into account the early horses POSITION ( if you have THREE early runners look for an OTE guy who runs well from 4th position or closest to that POSITIONALLY. Use the WHOLE pps as that is what Hat has taught for YEARS. We MUST account for the POSITIONING of the early runners on the RACETRACK when we are evaluating the OTE guys to find the WIN contenders” #3 is the only horse showing it can win from 6th position. It also shows it can handle today’s 1C pace. |
