Goals for 2012

2011 was a good year for me betting wise. I started out slow and was betting maybe 2-3 races a week because of commitments to work. However to be honest a break away from racing after the 2009 breeder's cup was needed as I just was not feeling charged up doing races.

I got back into racing during the prep races for the Kentucky Derby
but stopped again after Animal Kingdom won. Nothing against the horse
but what a blow.

I laid low again till Monmouth opened I knew soon would be Del Mar.
New Pace was everybody's love
and I knew it was good, but not to my liking. I purchased a copy, tried it out
and put it away.
I decided to take a chance and try the Monmouth Park Survivor Contest
I would bet the best finisher on the VDC panel of the segments screen
after hiding any horse who finished behind the 2F panel 0.0 horse
This worked out very well and I set and surpassed all the goals
I set for myself including being alive for The Haskel ( which I had the winner)
Pace and Cap day and then to survive to the end, I DID!
Just before Del Mar started Ted sent me RDSS2 with a new readout
The VDC ranking with a percent from the best number like he has for preceptor.
I posted my top 3 VDC horses every day and did well betting those three horses
and soon found I did better betting only two of them.
Summer was great as I got to go to Del Mar often Then I went back over the road
It was fun posting my daily location as I traveld the country.
I was so proud with all the messages of welcome to were ever I was.
Pace and Cap day at Saratoga was the best one yet but they all have been
the highlight of the year. The meeting on Friday night was a workshop
setting. It was a thrill for me to present my ideas of a too early horse on the
Early /Late Graph in front of the group.
I got to spend many hours with Patrick. He treated me so well. I met a fellow truck driver
and made a life friend. Getting together with Richie Barb Ted and Karen again made me thankful for there kindness
That was to ultimate moment. Getting to meet so many new folks and say hello again at pace and cap day
is the highlight of the summer.

After pace and cap day and after the Del Mar and Monmouth
VDC work I felt a new charge to get back into business as usual
With RDSS. Using Validator mode "Just Like in Doc's Office" was the method of operation .
Shortly after this, Back at Philly (Parx) inspired by Barb at P-C day I bet a .10cent super
and I won.The super paid $587.00 for a dime For the first time since the bomb doubles and pick threes I hit with Richie
back in the days at he Meadowlands I had a bankroll.

I decided at that point to reread every follow up Psychology of Winning
article, and now that I could bet a little more I set out to learn better pace line and contender skills
and also to improve my money management
The breeders cup came and went I am not a big fan so the rest of 2011
was business as usual It was a great year for me because when ever I felt down I always had Pace and Cap to pick me up
I was so proud when Ted asked me to be his partner on RDSS Team Sartin
with Bill Lyster I just hope I do ok

My goals for 2012

1.Is to be more selective in the races I bet into
1A to enter only true contenders in my program
2.To follow The money management methods of Dick Scmidt from the follow ups
3. To improve each 20 race cycle

4.To take time to thank all the people who took the time to help me

THANK YOU
Happy New Year

Wow it will be tough to be any happier than I was last year during the Saratoga meet, getting to actually meet Bill and Richie, and spend some real quality time with members of Pace and Cap, and like Bill , I had so much fun watching Barb do her thing , again and again, and realize some of my capping produced the same horses, which to me was an amazing feat, one I was so proud of , as we all know how great Barb is. It was so special to me, and this time I can say it was fun and enjoyable every day of the meet.

I also worked behind the scenes at the track as well, and it was my best job I ever had in my life, and if all goes well I may do it again this year too.

My goals for the New Year are a few heavy duty ones and some normal goals we all may have.

I wish to lose over 100lbs this year and become an active individual again.

Become a better person thru my actions and efforts to improve my own mental and physical well being.

To always be able to wake up and go to sleep with a smile each and every day.

To find a place to call home and a job that makes me happy and allows me to do the things I love and to also give back too.

To hit the Ky Derby Superfecta, just once in my life, remember this my dream and one I refuse to let go of, and with RDSS I feel it is attainable.

To work at Saratoga Racetrack again this year, as I am wanted back, which is a great feeling to have .

To learn RDSS and become the best capper I can, thru patience and plenty of practice, and if possible , picking the minds of the few here who anwser my qusetions and make suggestions, of which I take all seriously and appreciate dearly.

To make real friends , as just a few years ago, I may have had only 1 true friend , Spencer, and that people is too few and oh so lonely, because what is life without friends.

Is this they year I find my better halve, as it would sure would be nice to share my life with a speical someone, I am ready to share my life.

A few of my lifetime goals.

To own my own home. ( hopefully in zip code 33009 )

To buy a brand new car. (something I never did )

To find an income stream or 2 to allow these things,
( thru a business or investments or even a job or career)

Those are my lifetime achievement goals, for which I strive everyday for.

To help others in as many ways as I can. (always a dream of mine )

Patrick
