Al,

My thought was that the 5 was the only E in the race. I used line 6.

Line 1 24.2-48.1-113.0-144.9 - had open lead by 1
Line 6 24.5-48.7-113.2-143.5

2nd race off 65 day layoff; race level okay

The 3 is some kind of presser and honestly, the number of races probably raises a question mark. In line 2 the 3 was an EP against 50.2-115.3 and ran an early race in its last, fading to lose by ten while running in 5th at 2nd call.

I just think that the 5 might be totally clear and with a little bit of luck could run back to the 143.5 time - .3 slower at 1/4; .6 slow at half and .2 slower at 3/4. Arithmetically thats 5 fifths faster.

My contender array is #2-L4, #3-L1; #5, L6; #6-L4; #7-L3. all of them run 4th or 5th at second call which potentially leaves the 5 all alone. I will bet win/place in any case if odds hold and the 6 looks to run hard (and best of the rest) so I really like my exacta play for a price.

Good luck Al

Bill:
Thanks for the in-depth look. I didn't see an early speed edge for #5, but he certainly is worth a play. Good skill to you.

Bill Nice hit!! Looking at the 2 races you hit they were not straight forward. Can you go through your thought process with us?
