Wow Bill. You are posting between heart and kidney surgery from the ICU? Amazing! We are so fortunate to be living in this time in human history when doctors, nurses, and science can pull this kind of stuff off. More power to you Bill. I hope we have many more Saratoga meet ups in the future.

Hello

I am out off the ICU . Now they have moved me to a room . I am hooked up to all kinds of machines with tubes all around me.

I am able to use my tablet so I love that you guys have been posting some races
Hopefully I am closer to getting out of here soon

My heart issues seem to be doing real well but I have to stay in bed ,
The kidney problems are making me be on dyalsis all the time ,

No fun. Santa Anita opened this weekend, I wanted to do some of those races. But I can't find the strength to fiddle with my laptop.
It's a blast to see races posted from finger lakes

I have been there , it was a fun day, I remember RICHIE used to be looking at races on a Friday from the meadowlands and He had bet a race from Finger lakes , , back in those days Parx used to close for about a month in the summer, so I decided to take a ride up to finger lakes that Saturday , I was using synthesis and i ran out of battery power on my laptop aftrrr the 5th race , but I had lots of fun

Thumbs up Get well soon

I hope you have a speedy recovery. Also watch your belongings while in the ICU. When my father was in the ICU one of those nice people swiped his gold wedding ring! Never heard back from John, not even after i emailed him about your condition. GO FIGURE. Your friend Omar. Think positive,Think Omar!

Hoping you get better news on your kidneys. Parx took both races off turf today due to lousy surface. They had a bad spill yesterday and last week jocks refused to ride last 2 turf races due to surface conditions. I hit the 1st today $16.20 and $120.20 ex. Wish you were playing along today. Love your work at Parx. Hang tough my friend

I spent a long time on the phone with Bill today and he sounded good - in spirit! Definitely problems with the ole physical body, but aside from 3 times weekly dialysis sessions, and an upcoming heart surgery in November - it sounds like he's gotten a great 'message' from the 'universe' to get off the road, leave truck driving behind, and try something new ...

I was worried about how I would find him but he was full of beans, though tired. It sounds like he has a good home situation - surrounded by his family in Carlsbad, and a strong attitude towards healing even if the immediate prospects are pretty scary. We talked about family, about our upcoming Breeders' Cup adventure and about all the people in our PaceandCap community who have expressed such love and concern for him. He said it TRULY made a big difference in his mood and desire to work through these physical trials right now.

So thank you ALL, from Bill, for the kindness and concern you have been sharing - please keep him in your thoughts and prayers! It is a big situation in his life, and he will make it through to a new beginning with all our support. Bill is truly the 'heart' of Paceandcap.

We love you and are rooting for you Bill!

Ted
