Hello Bill,
Great to hear from you and Merry Christmas. It will be a great New Year as its great to be alive. Very nice your Dad can get there for the holidays and be there for you. I had a by-pass at age 46 or so and it kicked my ass. Now that the worst part is over I can say that. You go from total exhaustion to gradually improvement with each day. It only takes a few more steps each day for that improvement. Then you do too much it sets you back a day or two to rebuild those energy reserves. Bill you've made great progress and realistically need another month or so to see the big difference as each day you'll gain strength. You have to remain calm and control that get up and go, Races will always be there everyday. Follow the medical staff instructions as their techniques have been proven by many thousands of patients exactly like you. Your well on you're way Bill and in time it'll get easier and easier. The rough part has passed and the dangerous beaten path is behind. You're doing great! Enjoy your family and the holidays. Mitch44 |

Bill,
Glad to hear you're making progress. I'm sure it will be great to have your father with you at Christmas. But, New Years may be better. Looking forward to a new year having made it through the old year and knowing there are good things to come. Good capping. Happy New Year, Tim |

Bill,
I'm glad it's "Getting Better." I found a list I thought you might enjoy, since you and I share an interest in Sir Paul's music. |

Healing Music
Since we are going down a Paul McCartney route I thought it only right to post this cover version by The Faces. Enjoy Bill.

Greatest Lefty to play Shea Stadium?
Bill V,
Listened to your "Youtube" link and reminded of a favorite quip of some Nashville musicians I know. The greatest lefty to play Shea Stadium? Paul McCartney |

Mick, I guess Jimmy never had the pleasure to play at Shea.

Forrest Hills
Hi Mick
I had the great honor to see Sir Paul live in about 2008 or so. I saw him and his band at the Continental Arirlines arena in New Jersey right next to the Meadowlands and what is now Metlife Satidum. Paul put on a incredible show, I never was a fan, I thought he was just a pretty boy. John George and Ringo to me were the heart and soul of the Beatles. After the show seeing him live I started to appreciate his incredible talent. I don't know if you have ever seen the movie Nowhere Boy. Its the story of John Lennon as a teenager, and as the Beatles were first starting out, In the movie we see also a very young Paul and already he shows his wide range of musical talents. Jimi Hendrix might not have played Shea Stadium but he does have a history at Forrest Hills stadium which is right next to the stadium In 1967 he was on tour with of all people, The Monkeys. needless to say it was not a good mix. One of my favorite songs Hey Joe "live" https://youtu.be/XMGv4EewHdg |
