I have Syn 4 but prefer Syn 3 as it does the TPR numbers like the book
Pace Makes the Race. RDSS does a real nice job with the TPR numbers |

Hi,
It was from yours and Parts research that found out about syn 4.Thanks I like that it uses par times for adjustments.and has a lot of setup options. Bob did a nice job on those old programs Have not used syn 3 or Rdss but both look solid for modeling. Best of luck |

Well I am glad that someone got something from the rambling of Parts and myself.
How are you using Syn 4? |

No class adjustment.
Beyer style adjustment 50% and Brohamer model to look for 70% + 1-3. factors. example Rp Attached,I still need to iron out a few turf pars. |

Pete,
Hey great job on that, when I was using the program I never modeled. I was in contact with Purdy who did tell me that modeling with Synergism was a great way of using it. As far as the Phase I numbers goes Bill V really has a handle on using them. Jeff |

Hi Jeff,
I have gone back and forth with the idea of modeling, but have been convinced that it needs to be done to single in on a playable factors. Or a playable distance at a track, most often it tells me when not to play.I have forced plays a lot where I should not have. And all I do is copy from Synergism and paste to excel.Tame dos helps I just add a few things.to the spread sheet. It's goes pretty fast. Yea Bill knows all the programs real well, I have learned from reading his and Richie's posts over the years. Pete |

Pete,
If you have not done so already check out Elliot Sidewater's article on using Synergism 2,I think it is in either issue 17 or 19 of the follow ups. The method does work, Richie,Pino and I used it and did quite well with it. |

Hi Jeff,
No I have not read that,Interesting take by Elliot, I will have to look at some old races. and will let you know what I find. Thanks for the Idea,on the Brohammer model audio, Doc says to model your 1F, 2F, 3F readouts,as well as the compound fractions. I guess there is a lot of ways to uncover winners if your willing to do the work. So compound fractions with individual fractions. |

From his past posts in the other board,Elliott has now moved on to Moss Pace Figures, being extra-selective on his plays and has started to make his own odds lines...
