Kentucky Derby question

Today Tiz The Law wore glue on shoes in the front. Is this normal for him, or did he have a foot issue?

I'd say he had a foot issue and wasn't 100%. May have had an abscess from a nail but most likely had a bruised Frog. That type shoe is normally employed for a tender Frog which could come from anything, even stepping on a pebble.

In a long race even with them on the pounding may have taken a toll which very well can explain the loss.
