There are many Maiden races with FTS horses ,a lot of Turf races and a lot of races with less than 8 horses entered.
The Top 5 Profit Line and Prime power horses won 92% of all the races.
They were also in 88 of the 140 P-6s or 62.9% .

Using the 4 Factors on these contenders I was able to get 75% winners in my top 3 horses.

That is why I use ProfitLine to windle down contenders!
Been a good starter point to eliminate the "non ProfitLine" horses and then handicap each race

You are most welcome Bob.
Today at GP the 6th has 5 FTS horses and two rank in the top 3 PL.
Also the 9th has 4 Fts horses with 2 in top 4 PL.
The P-6 is a total washout for me. Way to many questionable horses.
I am only watching and hope to find a longshot or two in the other 4 races.

Did you record the average size of the field?

Thanks,

Mark, No I did not keep that stat because I was more interested in how often I had all 6 winners in the P-6.

My original study was very specific as to distance , surface, and the number of entries and age.
I was a little surprised when the two sets are compared to each other that the results are VERY similar.
