Quad rater q
In issue 46 of FU Sartin said: Using Quad will tell you which ADJ. to use.
When Raw Line Graphs are superior the 1 ADJ. is evident. When Auto S is uperior use the 2 adjust. My q is How do you tell which is superior before the race? Thanks in advance for your answers. Chuck |

Quad
Hi Lefty
Thanks for the nod about Quad rator I have not used it for a while but I broke it out for a couple of races today at GP. I worked two races In both cases, race 9 and 11 the auto screen came up first I am not sure if that is what Doc means about which one is superior Race 6 Race 9 |

Bill, he says the screen that is superior tells you which adj to use in Thoromation. I sure can't figure out what he meant.
Did you win these races? I don't know what your numbers represent. I always put in number of horse with 3 letters for the name. Thanks for your input. Chuck |

Number 4
Hello Chuck
Yes, in race 6 the 4 or in my case horse 444 won and I had a WPS bet In race 9 I boxed the 1 3 4 6 or 111 333 444 666 in a tri box and picked up $90 Instead of the horse name I just typed 111, 222,333, 444 and so on I bet off the quadrator program readouts I did send the file to thromation from quadrator Just had to push copy on the menu and then F1 Then just open Thromation and the my pace lines were all entered automatically |

In earlier programs that 1 or 2 adjust was always a problem. Many races that were getable by the program were missed by choosing the wrong adjustment.
Three solutions are; 1. In gambling a hap-hazard approach will never beat a consistent one because things run in streaks. I.e. flipping a coin the odds are 50-50 % for either heads or tails but trying to pick which one will make you lose your shirt. But by always picking say heads you'll win every time it comes up. Therefore pick one adjustment and stick to it. I would choose the 1 adjust always. Sartin always said players are adjustment happy and frequently over adjust races that don't need it. The 1 adjust will win more because the 2 adjustment is meant for shippers from tracks that are very slow such as Calder. 2. the majority of time races don't need to be adjusted at all. In Thoromation the EXDC screen is meant to come up first. Sartin & Bradshaw said most of the time the wrong screen comes up because you have put a bad horse in there. Therefore improve your contender selection and look very hard at the horse needing that adjustment. Is it a true contender? 3.Sartin & Bradshaw worked diligently and hard to overcome that problem and did so. Their later programs solved that problem and his followers got more winners. His best and newest creation did in fact solve this problem long before both he and Bradshaw passed away. The present RDSS contains that answer. Want to get more winners than get the latest version of RDSS and get rid of those old programs where they were testing new ideas. None of those old programs can compare to the present day RDSS for getting winners. Adapt and overcome or perish is an individual choice. Winners like Sartin, Brohammer and Bradshaw were all winners and forward thinkers.Others who have beaten this game were also the same. Its just insane to not go with the best program available that will provide more winners. But this is a choice and there is the rub. Consistent winners on this site that I know all use the Sartin's latest version Of RDSS. Like LT1 (Tim) R. Mattie etc. I wouldn't give one cent for any of those old programs. Your choice as you'll need more than luck with them. IMO solution # 3 is best. Been there and done that, Mitch44 |
