Sartin Today
Hello all,
I've wondered for the longest time what direction Doc Sartin would've taken us had he not been forced to retire (due to health issues). Has he ever mentioned to anyone since then what other area(s) he was looking at in order to keep the Sartin Methodolgy at least five years ahead of the rest? Any thoughts...anyone? Mr. Bradshaw?? Regards, Jon

It would be pure guesswork on my part, but I would expect the teachings would be focused on how take advantage of the simulcast environment and focus on certain types of races quickly using software to find profitable bets.

He wrote an open letter to Trackmaster I believe where he states concern about the wagering pools becoming more and more occupied by smart money. He comes flat out and says that changing formulas might have to happen to remain viable and ahead of the competition. Then he took ill and that was that. The V/DC readout is the last of Howard's formulas and that was introduced almost a decade ago. With the increase in low favorite win mutuals and flat out ripoff/copycat of Doc's prized readouts such as the e/l graph there is no doubt that he would have long ago created some new reads/formulas to help clients in todays racing environment. Let's also not be naive/ignorant as to not mention profiting financially from new program sales/updates ok? There is one thing I would like to see come to fruition and can definitively say that there is NO software currently on the market that has anything remotely close to it. From Htr to Jcapper to Cj to Hsh to Synergism to Pizzolla stuff. NOBODY has figured out a way to do it and if one could produce it in a way understandable you truly would have something my amigo Jim G calls a proprietary readout. Nobody has it. YET Richie

I think the "come to fruition..." concept it's been tried unsucessfully. Maybe a new master of data base programming might be able to
tie all the lose ends and come with the "proprietary readouts....". It can be done. lbj |

That I am sure of! But what? I'm very curious to know. It seems that all possible ways to dissect and analyze a race have been discovered already...at least as far as I can see. But then again, I'm not the "creative genius" that Doc Sartin is and hence my curiosity! and "Bill Call Howard and ask him" I agree! Can you, Bill? Next time you talk to the Doc, gently try to bring this subject up...and pick his brain if you can. I understand he had a stroke and that's why I mention "gently." Best regards, Jon
