9/11

All horses are not sprinters. Why then do they put MOST maidens in short sprints to start out their careers? even the OLDER maidens.....A HUGE bias is afoot all but eliminating those with stamina credentials to show their stuff against the softer maiden fields where their careers get started.

A novel way to allow those that have stamina to show it, even as a maiden, is in the first race today at Woodbine, a TWELVE furlong maiden race.

Think about it and it is ludicrous. I just finished writing the racing secretary at Woodbine to congratulate them on such foresight. BRAVO a long time coming.

SomeONE is actually thinking at that track!

Just like Woodbine NO changes other than the first (scratch the 1 Mensch). A WELL run track with large fields, large purses and large mutuels. Fast/firm

Asmussen is sitting on 4,999 victories: has three here and two at Monmouth. Good luck to him

Woodbine opener chasing the

I just received a nice response from the racing secretary there through a friend in regards to this race; "I passed your message to Steve Lym, our racing secretary, and he was very appreciative of your comments and asked me to thank you. He agreed it is always nice to get favorable feedback because most of the time people are dumping on him."
