Playing Woodbine
I think everyone knows that Woodbine is installing a Poly-track on its main dirt track , but if you don't know heres the deal. The harness meet just ended and moved to Mohawk. The T-Bred races will be held on the smaller 7/8 mile harness track. This track is made from crushed limestone. And is a hard surface.I fully expect some kind of cushion will be added . All of the speed figures and track variants will not apply to this track. The public will be confused to say the least. This meet moving to the smaller track will be interesting to say the least.

By the way it appears Woodbine is also running at night at the harness track.

Any idea when ?
When is the Woodbine track going to run on the Inner Standardbred track ?
Any idea how this will affect horses....speed, speed and more speed ? |

Woodbine started using the harness track today, and will for a couple of months. No harness racing there until the t-breds go to the new plastic track.
Turf racing, of course, reamins on the grass |
