Gulfstream Park fishtank broke - Pace and Cap

Ruined lots of machines, wiped out electrical systems up and down.

I went to Gulfstream anyway to meet some friends.

Lo and behold the racebook building has power. I also got to pick up my free Saratoga blanket and submit my entry to the SAR contest. I'm still alive and have a real shot if I hit today's race with a bomb.

Here's what the casino looks like running on emergency backup power. Note, upstairs and downstairs are closed and locked. You can see people scurrying about inside. Who knows when they'll be back and running? I can't even imagine how much money it costs to have a casino inoperable.

This is a photo I took with my cell phone through the front door. It's not every day you see a ladder in a fishtank.

That Gulfstream casino and racebook looks very appealing. I hope that things bode well for the horse racing side...We are witnessing the consequences when there are too many hands in the cookie jar in New York.

That tip remark had me rolling with laughter. :-)
