Greetings from Monmouth

I'm in New Jersey for a few days with Richard D and we're playing the races at Monmouth this weekend. Great place, well maintained, and the facilities are big. There were a couple of thousand people here yesterday and it felt as if Richard and I had the place to ourselves. It's also a beautiful part of New Jersey. They don't call it the "Garden State" for nothing.

Hi Mick

Monmouth Park in Oceanport NJ, I know it well

I miss those weekend days, Been there many times growing up and as an adult.

Had my biggest superfecta wins in one of my last visits back there a few years ago.

If you are a sports bettor you should check out the sports wagering room.

I hope you have dry weather, as the turf racing usually pays big

If Zackery's is still open they have the best food for after the races
It is right across from the main gate

Say hello to Richard

Good Skill

One of my old stomping grounds when I lived in Jersey along with Parx and Delaware Park. Yes it's big, always well maintained with nice flower boxes etc. I mainly went to the clubhouse but the 2nd floor of the grandstand is always pretty much deserted if you want to get away from the crowd.

Wish you both good luck and good times.
