A Mistake That Could Have Been Avoided???

This race is GG # 5 from 4/27/06. I bet the 4&6 to win. However, I used the ML odds to make my decisions. Had I been following the race live my wagers MIGHT have been different. I still might have missed it, but it's close. What do you think?

ML ODDS
1. R Luc 2/1
4. Queen 8/1
6. Sun 8/1
2. Press 3/1
3. Idanh 9/5

Closing Odds
1. R Luc 1.5/1
4. Queen 3.9/1
6. Sun 8.2/1
2. Press 7.6/1 (Winner)
3. Idanh 2.1/1

I'll post the BL/BL screens before and after hides.

This screen shot is before hides.

This shot is after hiding the 1 and the three who both fail to meet my minimum odds standard of 5/2.

Doing this moves the winner into third and an overlay using live odds. Notice the line scores are very close for all three horses. He still isn't quite as big an overlay as the 6 though, and since the 4 is going off at about 4 to one that one should probably bet bet as well.

Can you bet all three?

The 2 (press play) won and paid 17.20

After Hides.

Advance betting using Morning Line Odds = I'd bet the same horses you did.

Real Time Odds = Two of your top three choices are under 2-1. In that case I wouldn't hide them; I'd pass the race.
