CSR Question

I worked a race from the 2010 DB. The race was 8f @DMR. I had the 1st 4 finishers in my top 5 including the $64 winner & $415 exacta. I noticed that the CSR for those two (numerically 5 & 3, respectively) were in bold type on my screen. What is the significance of that, if any?

Paul,

You don't mention the date or race however, as with all ranked factors, the top 4 are bolded, and the top 3 are coloured RED, GREEN, YELLOW respectively.

2 CSR values could be bold and not coloured if they were BOTH ranked 4th.

Perhaps a screenshot would help further (or the race id).

Ted

The race was 0903DMR7 (2010). Not important. I've worked over 250 races and have as yet to find any reliable use for this CSR value, but I'll keep plugging away at it. It may work as some sort of corollary to the other data. Back when I had only done about 52 races in my current research project, I found that the winner had CSR≤5 77% of the time, but numerous long shots were in the 6-10 range. I don't know what the percentages are now with the larger sample.
