Cheap speed from the 3 and 4 surpassed by the fighter, the 7, a grade 3 winner on poly last out. The 6 tandems with the 7 for two races, lines 2 and 3.

The 9 is a classified allowance winner and the 11 won a grade 3 at 6 furlongs this course and also won this class Stk100.

7 is early fighter; the 6 can press from 5 back, (with 3E's we need someone that can run from 4th or farther), the 9 runs from 5th and the 11 has won from 4th.

My contenders
7E 1-1-1
6P 5-4-2
9SP 5-3-2
11SP 4-3-1

I will wait for scratches before final picks.

Good morning guys...

Earlies:

#3 L8 23.2 45.6 115.0 need to lead
#4 L6 22.8 45.3 121.9 need to lead
#7 L2 22.1 44.8 115.1
L3 22.3 44.9 114.7 can win fighting or from 2nd position

My pick is #7 who looks best of the earlies and also looks fast against the OTE's.

The race probably gets run in 121 and change and the 7 should lead the way. I think the 6 and 9 run from too far back, and if any one can run down the 7, I think the 11 would do it.

7-11 to win with 6 and 9 as exacta hopefuls. I think you get the tri with these 4 as well.

Good luck.

i like 7-11-2-9 box in exactas and tris and win bets on the 2 higest odds horses or maybe 3 or all 4 if the odds warrant it lol. Good luck to all.

race is OFF the turf and 4, 9, 10, 11 are SCRATCHED

With the scratches, it appears that #7, Atlantic Hurricane, will be loose. I'm counting on #3, Woolly Bear, being able to stay with her early. She's cutting back from 9F but she's shown speed going 7F in the past and I'm hoping she can stay with #7 just enough to change the setup of the race. The 7 is better on the turf and got it all her own way last time.

#2, Amiable Grace has 4 wins and 2 seconds in 7 starts @ 7F. She lost to the 7 last out but they went 1-2 around the track in that one and all three chasers backed up. So, it probably favored the frontrunners. As such, I don't put much weight on the 7 being a 'fighter', as some here seem to do. Winning an individual duel with ONE other horse in a race that goes 1-2 around the track doesn't show much, IMO.

The other one here is #1, Ariana D, with some nice 6.5F and 7F AWT races.

#2 is the choice.
2 over 1, 7 in exotics.

After scratches I see it 7 beating 1, with the 6 after that.
