This is what bothers me about trackmaster
Look at horse 3 line 9 he ties the track record at Tampa and only gets a 91 SR.Horse 10 3 back gets runs a 95 SR and gets a 92 SR on TM.It doesnt make sense to me.

track record
Your talking about the DRF 3 year best or the best time ever? TM doesn't use that data, it's based on their own idea of what par is for the track, distance and class. At this track the the 3 year best or even track best may only be worth a 92. Remember the SR that TM uses is for track to track comparisions too. As for VAL that number may or may not have any resemblance to the TM rating.

The Trackmaster class rating is not a par per se, but the projected time for the horses that were running in the race. The Validator and Speculator speed ratings are not related to the Trackmaster speed ratings at all, but are a function of the program itself. The running lines you see are not necesarrily the actual running lines, but have been equalized and normalized by the program. The "original" running lines are what the horses actually ran.
