Calibration Handicapping now in the Public Domain
Calibration Handicapping by Jim Lehane is now in the public domain and available for free download from the Sartin Library,
Here: http://paceandcap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7100 Since he was no longer selling it, and since there has been discussion about his ideas here and elsewhere over the years, and RDSS includes some of his 'moves' markups, I wrote to him and asked if he would like to put it in the public domain, perhaps as part of a legacy. He wrote me back: Quote:

PP's
I noticed there are no PP examples. Example when he talks about the Red Scan tech. pages 14-16 are blank?

You're right. I see no DRF Past Performances in the entire document. I seem to have lost my paper copy of CH some time ago, so I don't have those PPs either. And Jim only gave permission to make the PDF available, not a scan of the paper book.
There must be a reason Jim chose not to include PPs in the PDF version he supplied, maybe permission to copy issues? Ted

I
Would ask Jim for permission to copy the PP's because, for someone who has never read the book, the book will be useless.

Jim wrote me back that he can't remember why the PPs never made it to the PDF.
But -- if anyone has the original paper book and can make a clean scan of the entire book (preferable) and email it to me, or just scan the missing PPs - then Jim gave permission to post the updated version. I have looked for my copy over the past few years and just can't seem to locate it. I'm sure I would not have given or traded it away, so someday it will turn up somewhere. Ted

FWIW - Jim Lehane is providing me an original paper copy of the book to scan and place online here. Including PPs. Probably by month end before it gets scanned. I'll let folks know.
