How to Obtain Speculator

Speculator V1.60 (Spec160) is available to evaluate for 30 days at no charge. Because the Windows software RDSS (Racing Decision Support System) is getting nearer to release, the pricing for Speculator 160 has changed. Here is the current pricing for Speculator 160:

1. First, you will get a credit toward RDSS of $100 (i.e. a 1 year subscription) from any amount you pay for Speculator. Please Note: after 2010, I will stop offering this credit.

2. At the end of the 30 day evaluation period, you may purchase a non-expiring license to Speculator for $500, or

3. You can also make a $250 payment for Speculator 160 with a 1 year expiry date. When Speculator 160 expires after 1 year, if you wish the non-expiring version, you can then pay the balance of $250. If you no longer want to use Speculator, no need to make that final payment.

Current users of a previous Speculator version may upgrade to Version 1.60 for the difference between what they paid Guy Wadsworth and $500 (minimum upgrade fee of $100).

Your purchase also helps financially support this website and you automatically get access to the Sartin Library here where issues of The Follow Up are available (the journal of the Sartin Methodology), as well as several other older Sartin manuals and publications.

If you are interested, just send me an email. Please provide your real name and a brief description of your familiarity (if any) with the Sartin Methodology and any Sartin software. If upgrading, please state your existing Speculator version, when you received it and what you paid for it.

Speculator was developed and supported by Guy Wadsworth in the period between 2002 and 2006 when, sadly, he passed away. Guy was a true 'gentle man' and also the programmer of Doc Sartin's software since the mid 1990's. Users of later Sartin software such as PaceLauncher, Synthesis and Validator will find in Speculator much that is familiar, as well as many nuances and enhancements described elsewhere in this and other forums on this website. According to Guy Wadsworth's wishes, Speculator is now published and supported by Knowledge Management Systems, Inc.

Thank you for your interest, and best wishes!
