I'll go with 8-2-4. Probably play #2 to win, #4 to place.

My contenders are 8-5-2-3-4. I'll go with the wager cap route $6 w5 $2wp 2 then $2ex box 258 and $1ex 258/347 total $31.

Weight

With the scratch of the 6 The second high weight horse 3 wins at 4/1
Looks like a bunch of us had the place horse #5 and newbie rainejust misses a nice place bet with the 4. Top weight comes through. That was a tough one

So 2,3,5 into the mix. 2,5 come up on top in BLBL.

Pook
Nice try POOK. Right church, wrong pew!

What a shame that the #6 horse was scratched. Before the scratch of the #6 the race was easy.

Being a HANDICAP race, the top three highweights were;

#6 123 lbs. (tie)
#8 123 lbs. (tie)
#3 120 lbs.

The #6 hadn’t run in 228 days (out. 5% or less chance of winning)
The #8 hadn’t run in 186 days (out. 5% or less chance of winning)
That left only the #3 that last raced 73 days ago WINNER @ $10.20

Once the #6 was scratched the search for the three highweights gets out of hand with three horses being tied for 3rd and creating a log jam of 5 horses, thus eliminating the race from consideration based on the rules of the play.

Just sayin’………….
