Parx Track Maintenance

I just received word from a long time friend who works horses at Parx that the track Super has added more dirt and sand to the base in a attempt to correct the problems they have been having lately. Keep an eye on how it's playing before placing any serious bets.

Just updated my model and profile and happy to report that there was no noticeable change from my previous results in regards to running styles and energy expenditure. Next racing date is Monday so will have to see if they do further work on the track.

Tim what were the problems with the track? I haven't noticed anything. I don't know why it is but Parx from my experience lends itself better than any other to the Methodology. You seem to get better prices for your pace work more often than anywhere else.

According to my friend they were having problems with the track freezing then not thawing well causing an uneven surface. They lost several days of morning workouts and at least 1 full card that I know of. I love Parx because it has the types of races I favor[3&up on dirt]. These older horses are pretty consistent considering class levels and most races don't have many unknown factors. Even most mdn races are pretty playable.

Just got an update on track. The track is a little deep at this time but speed is still doing well. I'm playing it today and so far it looks fair after 2 races.
