Hi Latekick, sorry to be delayed in getting back to you (I'm on vacation and checking in rather sporadically - back fully after Labour Day!)

Your problem happens often enough that I made a FAQ about it --> here: http://paceandcap.com/forums/showpos...59&postcount=8

Let us know if that doesn't solve the problem.

The RDSS FAQ's (www.rdss2.com/faq) are a wonderful place to find many answers, as is the Google Site Search link (left edge of website main menu).

cheers,

Ted

Latekick- I had the same issue when I started with RDSS as well. I found that uninstalling and re-installing works as well.

Yes, that is a 'brute-force approach' that also works It works to the extent that it simply deletes the Configure.ini file (on the RDSS2\Configure sub-folder) and re-installs a clean one. You can also edit that Config file (e.g. using the Edit Config File button on the Config Tab) and edit the incorrect setting to change which database RDSS is supposed to look for - as described in that FAQ.

Let us know if you get it fixed, and back in business.

Ted
