Friday night Race of the Week / Anyone interested?
With the warm weather approaching and people heading out of town on the weekends here is an idea I had.
Every week a different member selects a race to be run on Friday night. They would announce the race on Wednesday night or Thursday morning to give folks the time to work the race. Participants would then work the race in their own style with their own software and post screen shots and thoughts about the race. Then come that Friday night while some folks are preparing things to leave for the weekend we can have a little fun and watch the race to see what unfolds. Each week the member selecting the race and track would have the race named for them. For example this week we have the " Shoeless" stakes going on in the "Old programs" area. It's race 6 at Ct this evening. Shoe has given us a very competitive full field to look at. ok as far as tracks I would suggest that it be a track where ALL of us can watch the race. ESPN online has a link to an area where races can be watched for FREE with no signup or anything involved. Here is the link: http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/hor...ory?id=2121965 OK my suggestion is there are 3 tracks running on Friday nights that are shown here all the time 1) Charlestown 2) Evangeline 3) Mountaineer the races can be chosen from these 3 tracks weekly. Mountaineer opens their turf season this weekend so turf lovers have a spot here too ok? These tracks are noted for having full fields and pretty good prices so it should be interesting and FUN. NO scoring will be kept. You can list ANY type of wagers you like to make based on your readouts. Win Place Show Exactas Quinellas Trifectas Superfectas it's ALL good ok? Is there any interest in doing this? say so here and if there is next Wednesday night I will post up a kinda schedule. Hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend In the meantime feel free to check out the " Shoeless" stakes this evening at Charlestown. Info in the "older programs area". Richie |

I'll take a stab. No screen shots as I did it on the other computer.
BL/BL listing: 8-9-10-2-6 The "cliff" is after the ten horse (the others are behind a significant gap on BL/BL, I don't recall the exact numbers). The Morning Line Odds on those top three horses: 4-1, 6-1 and 5-1. I'll probably advance bet #8 and #9 to win. |

I am interested. The tracks are challenging and the full fields make for good prices. Good idea Richie. Also I have to check the ESPN site out as it was being advertised lately in the DRF.
