How to Create a New Thread ?

**Note: this post was copied from a different Thread, whose Topic was unrelated to the query below - i.e. how to go about creating a new Thread.

Hi, Ted
How do you change this Bid, hung by Tim Y (turf historian) and start a clean New Post 'I'm Back' by Ted Craven.
Well, Welcome Back Ted and get ready for the long journey ahead. God Bless You.
Thanks for Clearing Up about what I want to read (e.g. 'Follow Ups'). But, some older Manuals PDF documents (e.g. Paceline Manual, Yellow Manual) still require a password.

Thanks.
DSL

DSL,

Thanks for your greetings in that other Thread! I moved it here, to answer your question: how to create a New Thread.

It's easy! First decide which Forum you want to create a New Thread in then click on that Forum link on the main website page. Make this Forum relevant to your question - check the subtitles of the Forum names for more clues as to what kind of discussion should go in which Forum.

Then, to create a New Thread or Topic, simply click on the button labeled ... New Thread, found at the left edge of the page, just above the listing of the existing Threads. Give your New Thread a Title in the editor box, then write your post and click on Submit Reply.

This way you can join in discussions, but if your thought is NOT related to discussion going on in a particular Thread, or you have a DIFFERENT question - or a greeting - you can start a DIFFERENT discussion about your question rather than us ending up with all different kinds of discussions going on in a single Thread.

best,

Ted

Ted, if a ask you how to send a 'Quote' when I'm getting ready for a Post Reply. I asked twice on this topic, but I can not get it right. I need help.

Thanks.
