Question

What is the significance of the Early Pace ranking? Why is the final list ranked?

Ep rank

hello

The early pace rank is very important. The number one ranked EP horse ran the fastest early pace figure from the pace lines you choose/enter/used Therefore the ranked horses under the 1 EP would have to over come this horse if every horse ran to its paceline ( which they don't) Still the best EP
horse is vital to the match up of the race.

Early pace is 2/3 of the total energy a horse uses
The early pace call happens after 2/3 of the race has been run in 6 furlong races
and 3/4 of the race in routes of less than 9 furlongs.

I'm not sure what your second question means. Can you explain this again ?
