Santa Anita

How many of you invest in the races at Santa Anita? I decided to invest there today and I am really surprised at the races I found. SA seems to have more races with small fields and races were horses with mixed backgrounds are running against each other then any track I have looked at. Most of today"s races have Turf, Dirt, and Poly runners combined. To make it worse many of the runners have never ran the distances they are scheduled to run today.
Is Santa Anita still considered a premier venue?

No and yes.

No= smaller fields, deaths on the racetrack, staff firings, odd class levels

Yes= good host handicappers, still high purses

Not sure what to really say but that’s what I think
