I think this is a race:
1) with a lot of speed 2) many impatient jocks 3) lacking true 10F horses I don't think that Colonel John, though probably the best horse in the race, can get 10F. He certainly won't get 10F with the impatient GG up (who moved him prematurely last out) Rail Trip is, once again, in a position to control the race. He has enough strategic speed where he can sit just off the pace and take off when he pleases. But while he was ridden perfectly last time out, he was butchered 3 times before that, and I just don't confidence in Valdivia to go the right thing 2x in a row (especially at much lower odds). Parading is distance challenged and will be eaten up with an early move. Einstein will be close but probably lacks the needed kick. I think that Rail Trip will not get the correct ride, there'll be much action early and often, and the race will COLLAPSE. And collapse badly. The true stayer in the race is Richard's Kid. He's cheap but he'll be a price, he can get the distance and he'll get a nice setup. Of course, this is the result of 5 minutes work, so take it with a grain. |

This race is worth a $20 investment to me.
#6 Colonel John looks like the winner. I'll put him on top of $10 exactas with: #2 Song of Navarone at 20-1 #8 Global Hunter at 20-1 |

Welcome all and from just a quick glance over the horses entered I will wager $ 3.00 To win on Richards Kid.
This my 1st posting as I have been studying and still digesting this and have still lots to learn.
