La Brea and Malibu - both at 7 furlongs
Interesting graded stakes on opening day. The La Brea for fillies at 7 furlongs has mostly early runners and about 3 OTE types while the Malibu for colts has one E with the rest coming from various places off the pace, including Shared Belief.

Santa Anita, R #6 & R #8
PeteC,
How do you get these PP's for these two races. You must have a separate account with Brisnet.com, in order to retrieve them. Your reply is much appreciated and thank you in advance. Happy Holidays! DSL |

I don't know where Pete gets his, but this site has the PPs as long as the race you are interested in has been sponsored by someone. They are free.

Free PP's
Hi DSL and Bill- I get them from the same link that Bill just posted...It's nice to post races from there because each individual race is a separate file instead of downloading the whole card from BRIS and posting screenshots...

La Brea:
Lots of speed, with #1 Taris fast with an element of press to boot; I think the 8 is going to cause a lot of havoc among the need to lead types so my top choices are the 9 Sam's Sister and the 10 Jojo Warrior (who has pressed from 4th to place 2nd and who is more experienced than the 9. Both horses have shown that they do not need the lead in fast races in order to be competitive. Malibu: If you do not default and just take Shared Belief as a single, there might be some value in the 2, Chitu or the 3 Indianapolis, both of whom have faster 7 furlong times than Shared Belief and both usually like to lay closer at fast paces that SB. Chitu appears to be the only true E horse and could wire the field. Good luck to you all, |
